Dear Adams Families,
Welcome to the new school year! We are so happy to have your students back with us and want to give a warm welcome to those who are new to the Adams community. As we start this year, we want to think about how much our students grew and learned last year.
We are proud of our students for improving in both their schoolwork and social skills. Last year, we saw them work hard and grow. They got better at learning and also at getting along with others. We are very proud of all the effort and hard work our students showed.
This year, we are continuing some important programs to help our students grow:
- Daily Check-Ins: Every day, we will check on how our students are feeling to make sure they are doing well and ready to learn.
- Optimistic Closure: Our students will have a chance to think about what they learned each day and feel good about their progress.
- Thoughtful Discussions: We will help students talk about their choices and understand how their actions affect others.
- Teaching The Adams Way: Our students will keep practicing how to be safe, respectful, and responsible, which helps make our school a kind and caring place.
- Writing: We will give students tools to help them with writing, so they can get better at expressing their ideas.
- Thinking About Thinking: We will encourage students and teachers to talk about how they learn, so students can get better at solving problems and thinking critically.
This year, we are also working on helping students come to school regularly. Being at school every day is very important for learning, and we will work with families to support this.
Thank you for supporting your child's education. Your help makes a big difference in how well they do in school.
As we start this new school year, let’s face the challenges and opportunities with excitement. Together, as the Adams community, we will keep helping our students grow and succeed.
Thank you for trusting us with your child's education. Let’s make this another great year!
Go Wolves/Vamos Lobos!
