Mt. Adams

Principal's Message

We have been through many changes this year.  The COVID Pandemic has provided many challenges for us to overcome.  As we move into the 21-22 school year, please let me share some of the measures we are taking to keep you children safe and learning.

In order to protect your students from the COVID we will continue the Five Layers of Safety the district adopted last spring.

  1. Daily Health Screenings (NO daily attestation is required)
  2. Social Distancing (three feet in classroom, additional spacing at lunch)
  3. Facial Covering (Masks)
  4. Hand Washing
  5. Special Cleaning Procedures

*Please remember the health and safety of your child is a top priority.  Our health and safety practices may change based on updated COVID data.

Our efforts in learning fit under two ‘umbrellas’  the first is developing students' academic skills.  The second is developing our students' social skills.

Academic Skills

  • Emphasis on Quality PLC Teams
  • Response to Intervention
  • Early Literacy Skill
  • Effective Feedback, Grading, and Reporting
  • Best Practice for ELL Students
  • Poverty’s Impact on Learning

Social Skills

  • Teaching SEL Skills/Lessons
  • Develop Multi-Tiered Systems of Support
  • Refine Our PBIS Practices
  • Poverty’s Impact on Well-Being

Thank you for your support and patience over a challenging year.  We are looking forward to greatness.

Go Wolves
